Dr. Ivy’s journey spans continents, cultures and decades. Early in her career, while practising in Asia more than 20 years ago, she recognised that the face could be sculpted like art — long before this philosophy entered mainstream aesthetics.
Her greatest inspiration remains Leonardo da Vinci and his golden ratio — a principle she applies to every treatment. Guided by mathematics, geometry, and the deep anatomical understanding she developed through years of medical training and biotech research, she created a method that elevates the natural structure of the face rather than masking it.
Her dedication to education led her to write two bestselling books — Face: Mathematics and Geometry of Beauty and Face: Enhancement and Rejuvenation foundational texts in aesthetic medicine that have shaped practitioners around the world.
Understanding Ageing - The Vector-Based Method
Every face ages according to its own vectors. Understanding the pathophysiology of ageing is essential before rejuvenation can begin.
By analysing the facial vectors and assessing the depth at which ageing occurs, Dr. Ivy determines the precise combination of microdroplet hyaluronic acid, Botox and threads required to restore support.
Muscles often lose synchrony with age. Botox is not used to freeze but to re harmonise movement. Microdroplets of HA replace volume loss. Threads reposition the facial fat pads vertically or horizontally when structural lifting is required.
